Meeting Audio Recap will create a summary of multiple Teams meetings

Microsoft is introducing a new feature called Meeting Audio Recap, which summarises key topics from multiple meetings into audio summaries. Arrived mid to late September 2025.

Meeting Audio Recap will offer a new way to catch up on your Teams meetings. It will use AI to capture and summarise the key topics discussed, then turn those summaries into audio clips, allowing you to listen to highlights from multiple meetings.

On Teams desktop, audio overview is part of the Meet app:

Select the Audio recaps tab, select the desired time range, overview format and style, choose your meetings and select Generate:

Coming to Windows, macOS, web, iOS, and Android platforms for Teams users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.

Update, 26th February 2026: Microsoft will roll out an update to Microsoft Teams Audio Recap that will expand support to eight additional languages, helping you access concise, podcast-style summaries of your meetings in your preferred language and improving inclusivity and meeting follow-up. Once the rollout is complete, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish will be supported. Due mid to late April 2026.
