The SharePoint FAQ web part is being updated to help content owners keep FAQs accurate and up to date. Due late December 2025 to early January 2026.

Details
The FAQ web part for SharePoint curates FAQ content based on your grounding information to create an FAQ for your page visitors. The web part is being updated with the following enhancements:

  • On-demand AI-suggested FAQ updates: Manually trigger a freshness check. AI will analyse grounding files and viewer-submitted questions to identify outdated or inaccurate FAQ entries and suggest revisions:

  • Seamless import of existing FAQs: Copy and paste FAQ content directly into the SharePoint FAQ web part, enabling quick integration of existing knowledge:

  • SharePoint Page as grounding source: FAQ answers can be grounded in SharePoint content, including the current page or other selected pages.
