Short Version
Copilot in PowerPoint will soon support personal custom skills. Upload a skill folder containing a SKILL.md file to a designated location in OneDrive, and it will automatically appear in the Copilot Skills menu, ready to enable or disable from a new Manage skills experience. Due late July 2026.

Details
Create and use your own custom skills (skills provide Copilot in PowerPoint with information to complete repeatable tasks) in Copilot within PowerPoint for the web, tailoring Copilot to your specific workflows and presentation needs. To add one, upload a skill folder containing a required SKILL.md file to a designated location in OneDrive, which is simply where the skill files live. Once uploaded, eligible skills automatically appear in the Skills menu within the Copilot pane. These skills are personal to you and only visible to your own account.

You can manage which skills are active from the new Manage skills experience, found under the three-dot menu in the Copilot pane. From there, you can independently enable or disable individual skills, and Copilot will only use the ones you’ve switched on.

Availability
Due late July 2026.
