Microsoft Copilot will soon add a Web content on/off slider to the three-dot menu. Due mid-December 2024 to late January 2025.

You will be able to disable or enable web searches with the slider, which will be accessible from the existing three-dot overflow menu:
If you have disable web search, you will be notified that Copilot responses won’t include the latest data from the web:
At the time of writing, I’m not sure about the following:
Bizchat in Teams already has this control in the Manage Copilot response menu. Will it be moving to the three-dot overflow menu?
Chat in the browser and in Teams has the option below. Will this be removed in favour of this new control? I feel like I’m missing something.
Maybe the browser and Teams will have a unified experience with only one slider accessed from the three-dot menu?
