TL;DR
Microsoft 365 Copilot will group chat history by time frames, such as “Yesterday” and “Previous 7 days”. Due late February to early March 2025.
Details
This feature affects your existing and new chat history, which will be grouped according to the time the chat prompts were submitted into the following categories:
- Yesterday
- Previous 7 days
- Previous 30 days
- <This year>
- <Last year>

If a time scale does not contain any sessions, that time frame will not be displayed. Existing functionality, such as session deletion and renaming a session, are unchanged. Timestamps will no longer be displayed next to each prompt.
