If you ask M365 Copilot chat to draft an email for you, it will offer an Edit in Outlook button. Due late October to mid-November 2025.
Details
If M365 Copilot chat detects that you are asking it to draft an email, a new Edit in Outlook button will appear along with its response. Clicking it will open Outlook with a pre-populated draft email, including subject and body fields.
A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required.
