Short Version
Admins will soon be able to upload custom dictionaries for Microsoft Teams meeting transcripts, enhancing transcript accuracy for tenant-specific terms. Now due mid to late July 2025.

Details
Your admin will soon be able to upload a custom dictionary via the Copilot Settings page in the Microsoft 365 admin centre. This will improve transcript accuracy in Teams meetings by recognising your organisation’s specific terms, enhancing both Copilot and Intelligent Recap.

To use this feature, the meeting organiser or transcription starter must have a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence.

It will apply to Teams transcripts on Windows, Mac, web, iOS, and Android.

Admins, once this has rolled out, head here to configure:  Microsoft 365 admin centreCopilot > Settings > Other settings > Copilot Custom Dictionary.
