TL;DR
Microsoft Teams town hall and webinar organisers will soon be able to download Q&A sessions as CSV files. Due mid-August to early September 2024.

Details
After a town hall or webinar go to the Reports section of the invitation to download the Q&A report, which contains:

  • Source: Who posted the conversation (organiser or attendee)
  • Type | Conversation type: Discussion, Question, or Reply
  • Identity: Identity of user who engaged in the conversation
  • Timestamp: When the conversation was posted
  • Conversation ID: Unique identifier of the conversation
  • Reply to ID: Reply ID of the conversation in response to a question or a discussion
  • Content: The content of the conversation
  • Reactions: The total number of reactions to the conversation

To download, select Reports > Download > Q&A report:
