Immersive Reader in Outlook Desktop includes all capabilities available in Immersive Reader Microsoft Word. Now due late July to early August 2022.
Details:
Immersive Reader allows you to adjust the text of an email to read in the way that works best for you. Use Read Aloud to hear emails read to you as each word is highlighted, or modify spacing, colour and more for a comfortable and easy to process email experience.
When Immersive Reader is turned on, the Immersive Reader tab and ribbon are visible. You can use it to read and compose messages and when enabled, it is on, until you turn it off.
The entry point to adjust this setting/feature can be found by selecting View menu > Immersive Reader.
Availability:Due mid to late July 2022 for many of us (rolling out to the Semi Annual Channel).
Now due late July to early August 2022 (rolling out to the Semi Annual Channel, already released to SAC Preview).
