‘Meeting being recording’ notification across the top, poor network quality message shown another way and then there’re chat bubbles…messages in Teams are a bit all over the place. This great update will fix that.
TL;DR:
Microsoft are updating the Teams user experience for how in-meeting notifications are displayed. With this update, there will be less distractions during meetings and it will be easier to understand important information (e.g. a meeting being recorded). Now due mid-September to mid-October 2022.
Details:
Notifications will soon be consistent in design and in a consistent position on the screen (top centre of the meeting stage) and appear as pop-ups stacked vertically. This will avoid overlaps and give you a cleaner visual experience. You can also snooze repeat notifications, such as chat bubbles.
Availability:Due early August to early September 2022.
