Tabs are a super-versatile way to bring content into channel, chat or meeting. This update will now merge the usage and management options into one menu, making tabs even easier to use.
Short version:
Microsoft Teams tab actions are moving out of the tab header bar and into the tab dropdown to help declutter the user experience. Due mid-November to early December.
Details:
This change applies to all tab in chats, channels and meetings. These tab actions can be found by clicking on the tab name to show a dropdown menu. These actions include:
- Reload tab
- Go to website
- Copy link to tab
- Pop-out tab
- About this tab
Some of us have come to rely on these tab actions being available in the tab header bar. A one-time pop-up message may appear to reminds us about the change when it happens.
