Short Version
Microsoft Teams users will soon be able to report security risks and concerns regarding external users in one-on-one chats, group chats, and meeting chats. Due early to mid-May 2025.

Details
After this rollout and if enabled in your organisation, you will be able to hover on a Teams chat message > select the three-dot menu > select Report message to report a message-related security concern when chatting or meeting with users outside of your  organisation:


Shared channels are not currently supported.

This new feature appears to be off by default and will need to be enabled by your tenant administrator(s).
