Microsoft is introducing Sections with AI, a new SharePoint authoring experience that enables users to generate page sections using natural language prompts. Now due early September to mid-November 2025.
Details
This feature uses Copilot to understand page context, suggest relevant content, and generate sections that incorporate organisational knowledge, documents, and meeting transcripts. You can choose which files to ground your ground prompts in.
Start with Add a section using AI:
Then select a suggested prompt or write your own:
You can then view and select the generated section:
Continue to use prompts to refine your section:
