TL;DR
New Outlook for Windows desktop and Outlook for the web notifications will soon be batched in the Notifications pane. Now due early to late December 2024.
Details
Batches are groups of notifications separated by subject. Items from the same email thread, document, etc., will be grouped into these batches…rather than mixed up in one long list of notifications.
Access the Notification pane by selecting the bell icon in the top right corner. Select the chevron (^) in the top right corner of a batch to expand notifications.
