Microsoft are adding an app bar to Outlook on the web which changes how you will access Mail, Calendar, People, and To Do functions (and more). Currently these are a little out of the way in the bottom left corner. Rollout: early March to late March 2021.

Microsoft are adding an app bar to Outlook on the web which changes how you access Mail, Calendar, People, and To Do functions.
You will access Mail, Calendar, Contacts, To Do, and other Outlook experiences along the left side of the folder pane. You can also launch Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote on the web, Yammer, and other Microsoft 365 applications directly from the app bar.
