Coming to the Activity feed:

  • Meeting invites (including channel meetings you are explicitly invited to)
  • Meeting updates/cancellations
  • Meeting forwards (if you are the organiser)

Click a calendar notification in the Activity feed to see details of the meeting/event in the right pane

Once released, you can manage these notifications in Teams  >  Settings > Notifications and activity.
