Short Version
Microsoft Teams will offer SQL-style structured search queries (such as from:, in:, and is:) to allow you to filter messages, files, and conversations with greater accuracy. Due early to mid-August 2025.

Now you can search in Microsoft Teams using SQL-style commands like from:, with:, in:, or is: to quickly filter messages, files, and conversations and find what you need. Don’t forget the colon (:), this will show options to choose from:

Examples:
