Microsoft Teams will soon support Audio-only recording in meetings and calls. You can have all the in-meeting communication benefits of being on camera (and the accuracy of an audio recording) without your camera feed included in the recording.
Video and audio recording will be the default option; choose the new Audio-only option from the recording drop-down menu.

Due early October to late November 2025.
