The Microsoft 365 app launcher is getting a new look along with quick creation options. Due early April to late June 2024.

Details
Key points and what’s included:

  1. A new search bar for quickly finding more apps
  2. A one-click creation section for popular apps
  3. The link to Microsoft365.com (top right corner) will now be the first app shown in the app list
  4. The Documents section will be removed
  5. The same apps are shown, in the same order, for every user
  6. The new app launcher will appear in most Microsoft 365 web apps, including Microsoft365.com, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  7. You will see the same apps you are used to seeing
