Details
You will soon be able to archive Microsoft Teams channels. Here are the key points:

  • Owners will be able to archive channels
  • By default, archived channels will not appear in a team channel list, but can be manually added back
  • Archiving will make the channel ‘read-only’
  • The channel can be unarchived by going to Manage teams > Channels

Due late January 2024.
