Microsoft 365 Copilot is getting Vision in voice sessions, letting you share your desktop screen or mobile camera and ask Copilot about what you’re seeing. Copilot analyses the visual content in real time and gives you insights, explanations or guidance grounded in both what’s on screen and your work data. Due late June to late July 2026.
Details
During a voice conversation with Copilot, you’ll be able to start sharing your screen (or your camera on mobile) and ask questions about what’s in front of you.
On desktop, you select “Start Screen Share”, and a “Sharing your screen” message shows while it’s active, then “Stop sharing” to end it. On mobile, tap the camera icon to start, then tap it again to stop. The option appears in the Copilot Chat input box, via the Copilot key or Win+C on Windows, and through the camera sharing button in the mobile app.
Visual input is user-initiated and session-bound, so Copilot only processes what you share during the active session, and any audio and video data is deleted after 48 hours. Vision in Microsoft 365 Copilot follows Microsoft’s commitments to data security and privacy.
