Details
Previously, setting up a custom skill for Copilot in PowerPoint meant creating a SKILL.md file and uploading it to a designated OneDrive location yourself, outside of PowerPoint. With this update, you can create a new custom skill directly within Copilot, or upload an existing skill file using the new Upload skill experience, all without leaving PowerPoint. In the image below, you can see the new + Add a skill drop-down menu:

Whether created or uploaded, skills are still stored in your personal OneDrive, and remain personal to you, only available to the account that created or uploaded them. A Manage skills experience lets you view and manage your personal custom skills once they’re in place.

This update is for PowerPoint on desktop, Mac and web.
