Short Version
Chats and channels in Teams for mobile are getting a redesigned header and a new lightweight dashboard, bringing channel details, people, and pinned content into one place, and making navigation more consistent with desktop. Due late September to early October 2026.

Details
The redesigned header brings key details, people, and pinned content together into a single, lightweight dashboard within Teams on mobile.

In chats, this means quicker access to who’s in the conversation and anything pinned, without hunting across separate screens.

In channels, the same dashboard surfaces channel details, members, and pinned content in one intuitive spot, right where you need them:

This also makes navigating between chats and channels feel more consistent with how Teams works on desktop, so switching between your phone and your computer should feel more familiar.

This update applies to Android and iOS.

Availability
