Microsoft is updating the Agent Builder experience to make it clearer, faster, and more intuitive. Due late April to early May 2026.

These changes are intended to improve visual clarity; they affect only the agent creation experience, not agent capabilities, publishing behaviour, or admin controls.
The Agent Builder landing page now shows templates and a list of your agents, making it easier to start or reuse and learn from existing agents:
The Describe and Configure panes are displayed side by side, with the configuration pane (right) highlighting what changed and why:
