Short Version
You will soon be able to create and view Outlook Inbox rules from M365 Copilot. Due late January to early March 2026.
Details
New M365 Copilot capabilities will let you create and view Outlook Inbox rules, allowing you to ask Copilot to set up new rules or list your existing rules directly in chat without opening Outlook settings.

Copilot will show your existing Inbox rules, including rule names, conditions, actions, and status. Rules created with Copilot will operate the same as the rules you create through Outlook settings, meaning they will apply only to future incoming messages and will not automatically move or modify your existing messages. New rules will be visible and manageable through Outlook’s native Rules settings.
Availability
Due late January to early March 2026.
