Short Version
Create Excel spreadsheets directly from the content and references in a Copilot notebook. Due late May 2026.

Details
Copilot Notebooks users will soon be able to create Excel spreadsheets from the content and references collected in a notebook. Copilot will create a structured spreadsheet based on the notebook’s context, which can then be opened and edited in Excel.

This feature aims to streamline the move from ideas and source material into a usable spreadsheet by reducing manual setup and formatting.

A paid-for Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to use this feature.

Availability
Due late May 2026.
