For as long as Teams has been around, people with access to more than one tenant have wanted a better experience. Microsoft are about to improve guest user functionality within the Microsoft Teams app.

The Teams guest user functionality within the Microsoft Teams app is about to improve; decline a pending guest invitation, initiate leaving an org and manage the guest tenant list by choosing to hide/show guest tenants. Due early to late December.

Microsoft are making the following changes to improve the guest user functionality within the Microsoft Teams app:
- A guest will be able to decline a pending guest invitation within Teams app
- When a guest user clicks Decline, the Teams Tenant List will no longer show the tenant with the pending invitation and in the Account Management tab
- A guest user will be able to initiate leaving an org (taking you to the portal where can leave a guest tenant)
- When you, as a guest user click Leave Org, you will be guided on how to leave a tenant from Teams and Azure Portal
- A guest will be able to manage the guest tenant list by choosing to hide/show guest tenants
- When you click Hide/Show, the tenant will be shown (or hidden) in the Menu under the tenant list
There is no effect on guest user permission and/or access to resource.
