TL;DR
Work Hours and Location (WHL) in new Outlook for Windows and Outlook web will soon make it easier to see who else is in the office and integrate your work location with your Out of Office. Due late March to late May 2024.

Details
Work Hours and Location (WHL) for new Outlook for Windows and Outlook web was released mid-2023, and is quite useful. The number one question I received about this feature was “Can I specify which office location I’ll be at?”. No, you couldn’t, but the below screenshots suggest that is about the change (2). Other changes include:

  • Updated daily location menu (plan your day and see who else is in the office)
  • Integration of your work location with your Out of Office (3)

Availability
Due late March to late May 2024.
