Microsoft: “We’re introducing a new, streamlined Microsoft Clipchamp video hub start page experience—a single destination for video creation, discovery, and consumption. This update includes new AI-powered video consumption features designed to enhance productivity and engagement”.

Key points:

  • From August 2025 you will see a new banner inviting you to take a look.
  • The URLs for Stream and Clipchamp will remain unchanged.
  • There are no changes to existing functionality or workflows.

Microsoft: “The Microsoft Stream brand has been gradually transitioning to Microsoft Clipchamp across all Microsoft 365 video product surfaces. This shift is anchored by the new Clipchamp video hub…”. I wonder how much longer until ‘Stream’ disappears completely?
