Microsoft is introducing a unified plus menu (+) for adding grounding, tools, and sources when prompting in M365 Copilot.
This update removes the new, separate Tools menu and will be available for Copilot Chat users (without a license) and Microsoft 365 Copilot users (with a license).
AvailabilityDue late February to mid-March 2026.
Now due early March to mid-April 2026.
