Short Version
Quick views, such as Mentions and Followed threads, which appear at the top of chat and channel lists, will only appear when there are unread items. Due late March to mid-April 2026.
Details
The section at the top of chat and channels contains quick views such as Mentions, Followed threads, and Drafts. This section is getting several changes:
- A new ‘Quick views’ label will appear at the top of this section as a header (1).
- The whole section will be collapsible (2), with the header showing in bold if there are unread messages.
- Each Quick view, such as Mentions, Followed threads, and Drafts, will automatically hide if there are no messages to view. You can manually set the behaviour of each view (3).
