The new Teams pre-join experience makes it easier for users to select audio and video settings before joining a Teams meeting.
The new pre-join experience retains the video toggle underneath the preview window and adds easy access to background filters. Audio options are now displayed to the right of the preview window.
What do I need to do?
This update will automatically become available to you, and provide the following options:
- Video toggle on/off
- Access to background filters
- Settings
- Configure microphone options
- Speaker volume
- Room audio
- Don’t use audio
- Join now
Availability
This update has already started rolling out and is available for some users now, the rollout should be complete for everyone by mid-January.
