Short Version
OneDrive will soon get a new Export as PDF feature for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. On hold as of 24th July 2025.

Details
The new Export as PDF option in the three-dot menu of files provides a simple method for you to convert files to PDF.

When a file is exported as a PDF, the resulting document will be saved in the same parent folder as the original file. For shared files, the new PDF will be created in the root of your OneDrive.


The use of this feature is subject to the appropriate sensitivity label, Information Rights Management (IRM) protection settings and having permission to download the file.
