The SharePoint People webpart will soon include a Medium People Card option. This allows authors to input a 50-character description accompanying each person’s thumbnail image. Due early to late October 2022.

- The Medium and Large Cards remain white and boxed in, whereas the small card takes on the background colour of the section:
- When a People Card is published, the character count accompanying a person’s thumbnail image that you see whilst editing will disappear
- When you toggle between the Medium and Large card layouts, your description text is preserved until it is edited. This may mean that in the Medium card, your text has more characters than can be displayed. This will be indicated at the bottom of the Medium card:
