TL;DR:
Microsoft: “Microsoft Teams will be bringing workflows powered by Power Automate into the overflow menu for channels and replacing the Connectors option within the menu”. Now due late October to mid-November 2023 in the new Teams client.

Details:
Microsoft are making it easier to configure workflows for channels by promoting them to the channel overflow menu in the new Teams client. Go to a channel, click and select “Workflows”. You will see a list of workflow templates specific to channels within Teams.

Connectors will be moved to the channel settings page (“Manage channel” in the overflow menu) where you will still be able to see and manage existing connectors.

If the Power Automate app is disabled in Teams Admin Centre, you will not see this option within the overflow menu.
