Copilot Notebooks is getting Study Guide, a new way to turn your uploaded documents into interactive study materials such as summaries, topic pages, flashcards, quizzes, fill-in-the-blank and matching activities. Everything is generated from, and cited back to, your own reference files. Due mid to late June 2026.

Study Guide creates structured, learning-focused materials from the documents you upload, supporting study experiences for learners. You’ll be able to create one from any Copilot Notebook by selecting + in the left navigation, or going to the overview and choosing Study guide:
It generates:
- Summaries
- Topic pages
- Flashcards
- Quizzes
- Fill-in-the-blank activities
- Matching activities
All content is built solely from your provided reference files (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and grounded in and cited back to those source documents. It’s available in 21 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.
