M365 Copilot will soon show suggested actions, such as summarising and FAQ generation, in OneDrive and SharePoint file previews. Due late April to early May 2026.

Microsoft is changing how you discover M365 Copilot capabilities in the file previewer of OneDrive and SharePoint. Copilot actions will appear in the file preview experience, alongside the Copilot button, when you preview supported files. Suggested prompts, such as summarising documents, generating FAQs, and extracting key information, will be offered (1).
