SharePoint will soon have a new web part for AI-assisted chart creation. Due mid to late May 2026.

Details
Microsoft is adding a new Charts web part with AI assistance to SharePoint. IT is designed to help you create using plain-language prompts to visualise data on SharePoint pages, directly within SharePoint.

While editing a SharePoint page, the web part toolbox is one way to add the Chart web part:


You can then describe the chart you want using plain language in the chat pane (2):


After the chart is created, follow-up prompts can be used to add, edit, or remove data, and to adjust the chart’s look and feel. An undo button is available in case you are not happy with a change.
