Do you ever create forms or polls for a sub-set of your colleagues, but find the process of setting it up a bit clunky? This new update is about to make your life a bit easier.

Short version:
Microsoft Forms will soon enable a feature that will allow you to share a form or survey directly with individual users and distribution lists within your organisation. The update will also include automated follow up emails and updates. Due mid-March to mid-April late June late July August 2022.

Details:
Once a new survey is created in Microsoft Forms, the creator will have the ability to invite others to complete the form. In the below screenshot, just below Send and collect responses, note the new sharing icon second from left that has been selected.

Forms will then send periodic email updates informing the survey creator of updated information regarding the completion of the survey as well as provide the ability, for the creator, to send reminder emails to the recipients to complete the survey if they have not yet done so.

Availability:
Due mid-March to mid-April late June late July 2022.
Now due by late August 2022.
