With the new file selector, you can quickly find and select the files you want Excel Agent to process, all from one place. It makes it easier to locate relevant content for use with the Excel Agent. Rolled out late May to late June 2026.

When you use Excel Agent in Copilot, you now see a new file selector that brings everything together in one centralised experience. From here, you can browse and select the files you want Agent to process – no need to navigate away or hunt through multiple locations. The feature is designed to simplify file selection and make working with Excel Agent more efficient.

Rolled out late May to late June 2026.
