TL;DR
Microsoft Teams will soon bring Workflows to the three-dot menu for files shared in Teams chat or channels. This will make it faster and easier to ‘do stuff’ with/to those files. It is now due early to mid-July 2024.

Details
You will be able to select the three-dot More options menu (1) on files shared in Teams chat or channels, choose Workflows (2) and select an instant workflow to run on the file (3).

To select a Workflow, you must have previously created it. If you do not have the Workflow you need, follow the above steps but select See more workflows (4) at the bottom of the three-dot menu. Here, you can choose a template to start creating a new workflow.

You must have access to Power Automate to use Workflows.
