Short Version
Meeting organisers can delete most Microsoft Teams recap content (recordings, transcripts, AI summaries, and notes) with just a couple of clicks. Due late May to early June 2026.

The new Delete recap content option will appear in the More (…) menu on the meeting recap page (1):
The Delete recap content? dialogue box reminds you what will be permanently deleted:
What is permanently deleted:
- Recordings
- Transcripts
- AI summary
- Notes
What is not deleted:
- Shared files (they remain accessible in their original storage locations)
- Custom summaries (may be included in a later release of this feature)
- Audio recaps (may be included in a later release of this feature)
