Just last week during a Microsoft 365 and Teams adoption session, a user told me they found the “document sharing pop-up box” confusing looking. I think this update looks great and will help!
TL;DR:
Microsoft are improving link settings by providing more helpful tooltips, definitions, clearer language and a much better-looking interface to help you understand which link type and permissions best suit your needs prior sharing a file or folder with colleagues. Due mid-November to early December 2022.

They’re also added a quick at-a-glance view of all the collaborators that currently have access which also serves as an easy way to Manage Access which provides you with even more granular control.
