Short Version
Microsoft Edge will soon offer a Copilot-focused page when you select ‘New tab’. Due early to late April 2026.
Details
The refreshed ‘Copilot‑inspired new tab page’ (Copilot Mode) in Microsoft Edge for business will offer search, chat, and web combined into a single search box (1). Work Cards will display your calendar (2), Copilot suggested prompts (3) (reduced for unlicensed Copilot users), and work files (4).

It appears that this feature will need to be enabled by your organisation’s M365 admin; even then, you, the user, will have the choice to enable Copilot Mode for your new tabs.
Availability
Due early to late April 2026.
