Short Version
You will soon be able to draft, edit, and send Outlook emails in M365 Copilot Chat. Due late March to late April 2026.
Details
When you ask Copilot (in the app) to draft an email, an embedded Outlook compose form will appear within Copilot Chat:
You will then be able to:
- Edit the email content (2)
- Modify recipients (3)
- Send the email from within Copilot Chat (4), or
- Open the draft in Outlook to continue editing (5)
