TL;DR
Loop components will soon be available in Microsoft OneNote web and desktop. Due early April to mid-July 2024.

Details
You will soon be able to create and insert Loop components on a OneNote page.  Place your cursor where you want your Loop component to appear > navigate to the Insert tab>Loop Components to create a new component or just paste a link to an existing component.

Notes from Microsoft:

  • “Any new Loop components created in OneNote are stored in the “OneNote Loop Files” folder in your OneDrive
  • Any existing pasted components, like those created in Loop, Outlook, Teams, or Word, can be found in their original folders
  • When you insert an existing Loop component, ensure that you are using the component link, and not the page link
  • Loop components in OneNote automatically resize to fit their content within the component. If you drag the corners of the OneNote canvas, the width of the component automatically adjusts to fit the canvas outline”

Availability
Web: Early April to early May 2024.
Desktop: Early June to mid-July 2024.
