Short Version
Microsoft is introducing the ability to pop out live captions and the new Real-Time Text (RTT) in Microsoft Teams meetings and calls. Due early to mid-May 2025.

Details
You will soon be able to pop out live captions, including live translated captions, and Real-Time Text (RTT) in Microsoft Teams meetings and calls. This new functionality will enhance both accessibility and multitasking capabilities.

After the rollout, you will notice a pop-out icon on the live captions and RTT interface during meetings and calls. When you pop out captions and RTT, they will open in separate windows that you can drag, resize, and position anywhere on your screen. This will allow you to customise your meeting layout and view captions or RTT in a way that best suits you.
