This feature uses M365 Copilot to explain selected text from a PDF and allows you to customise prompts for tailored results. Due early to late January 2026.

In OneDrive for the web, open a PDF and highlight any text. By default, you will see the ‘Explain this’ option:
You can also highlight the text, then type in your own prompt and press Enter to see the results:
The original Message Centre post only mentions PDFs in OneDrive.
