SharePoint introduces a new Workflows experience aligned with the new experience in Teams. Due mid-October to mid-November 2025.

Details
Microsoft Teams is due for a new Workflows experience (read about it here). That same experience is coming to SharePoint to simplify and unify automation across SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365.

List and document libraries will have a new Workflows button on the command bar menu:

Selecting the new Workflows button presents the template library, your existing workflows and the option to build workflows from scratch:


The new workflows will be simple to configure and edit:



Notes

  • The existing Automate and Integrate menus will be combined into a single menu dropdown labelled Integrate
  • Power Automate powers Workflows and has the same enterprise-grade reliability, security, and extensibility
  • Existing workflows and compliance processes remain unaffected
