If you use the threads layout for Teams channels, you will soon see a new ‘ongoing meetings’ indicator for channel meetings. Due early to mid-March 2026.
Details
Microsoft reports an increase in simultaneous channel meetings within the same channel. In response, they are introducing a new indicatorin Teams channels that use the threads layout to help you discover and join these meetings.
The indicator will appear in the channel header (1) and will expand (2) to show active meetings, along with basic details and a Join button (3):
